ABOUT US
The Hawaii Chess Federation (HCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the official state affiliate of the US Chess Federation. Our mission is to build a strong chess community within the state of Hawaii, as well as, develop connections with national and international chess communities.
We curently strive to offer Monthly K-12 tournaments throughout the school year with a range of Time controls and Sections to make participating in chess fun for all interests and skill levels. Additionally, we are committeed to creating opportunities for life-long chess players through adult sections, 18+ specific tounraments and the annual production of the Hawaii Open which offers cash prizes.
