The 2025 Hawaii Open

The Hawaii Open serves as our annual State Championship for classical and blitz chess. The three-day tournament consists of four different sections: an Open division, the winner of which will be crowned state champion, an under 1500 Reserve section, an under 800 one-day tournament, and the Blitz Chess State Championship. Past events have seen National Masters battle for hours, as well as new players enjoying their first tournament among the state’s chess community.
