Purpose and Mission
♔ To enable its members to play the game of chess through sponsorship of tournaments, matches, and other chess events;
♔ To operate for educational and training purposes with particular emphasis toward the intellectual and competitive development of adults and children;
♔ To advocate and teach chess as an intellectual path that trains and enhances thinking skills; and
♔ To conduct an outreach program into community organizations and schools to develop chess programs.
